United States Container Construction Information

Home of most of our readers, the United States is made up of 50 States and a handful of smaller territories. For our geographic categorization, these territories, like Guam and Puerto Rico, are actually aligned with their location on the map (Asia and Latin America, respectively).

Building codes in the United States are left up to the individual states and not handled at the national level. However, as most building codes are based on the model codes of international organizations like the ICC, the variances from state to state are usually small.
